Event Details

Mitchell Hamline School of Law and Marnita’s Table invite you to join us on Tuesday, February 19th 2019 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. for an interactive dinner and conversation titled “Really… I Can’t Say That?” as we kick-off our three-event series Get Real. This series will include frank conversations designed to inspire us to move from talk to action in order facilitate authentic connections across race, class, and culture for the purpose of improving understanding across differences.

Together in this series, we will take on three different important issues. What things are better left unsaid if you want to have productive conversations across race, class and culture? How do we support and help individuals when we witness microaggressions? How do we forgive and move forward with grace as one community when a mistake has been made?

This event has been approved for 2 hours of diversity credit.
